Professor of Management Science and Operations

Experience

Alex's research focuses on the interaction of supply chain, finance, and digital technology. Applying data science and economic modeling methods, his work mainly evolves around two themes: 1) the interaction of operational and financial decisions in supply chains (trade credit, supply chain finance, and FinTech); and 2) governance and operations of digital technologies (innovations in platform governance, and managing and regulating Artificial Intelligence). He has published in top management and finance journals, and holds editorial positions at several prestigious international academic journals.
