Sir Andrew Likierman

Professor of Management Practice

Experience

Andrew studied at the University of Vienna and Balliol College, Oxford. He has held academic and administrative roles at London Business School, including serving as Dean from 2009 to 2017, and his research focuses on human judgement in leadership and management, with his newest book on the topic, released in January 2025. Andrew’s public sector experience includes ten years as Managing Director at the UK Treasury, where he led a major project transitioning government accounting from cash to accruals, and serving as a director of the Bank of England.

In the private sector, he has held leadership roles and board positions with companies like Barclays Bank, Beazley plc, and Monument. He has also contributed professionally to numerous inquiries and governance committees, including the Cadbury Committee on UK corporate governance and the United Nations governance initiative.

You can complete the self-paced part of the course at a time that suits you, and your live session with faculty will be scheduled towards the end of the month you are enrolled on (the exact time and date will be communicated closer to the time). If you can’t attend the live session, it will be recorded and shared with you. All communication will be sent to your registered email ID.
