Programme curriculum

In a competitive job market, technical skills alone are not enough. Our Masters in Analytics and Management (MAM) equips you with a robust toolkit by combining London Business School’s superb reputation and world-class faculty in general management with cutting-edge data analytics.

This unique one-year programme focuses on the point where business, data and machine learning intersect. Here’s an overview of its structure and highlights.

Career Management & Support

Optional fourth term

Contingent on career tracks, and subject to additional fees, the optional fourth term at LBS enables you to choose three additional elective or take an international exchange to broaden global exposure and understanding. Exchanges are available with other world-class business schools across Europe, North America and Asia.

The fourth term also expands your eligibility to apply for more internship opportunities. For companies which recruit on a strict penultimate year policy, MAMs will be able to apply for their summer internships commencing at the end of the core programme and return to complete their additional term.

LondonLAB

Our London location is home to major multinationals, tech start-ups, luxury and high fashion retail and NGOs; a dynamic, real-life classroom in which students can apply their skills.

Our innovative LondonLAB course capitalises on our connections with the London business community and beyond. LondonLAB enables MAM and MiM students to apply and integrate their learning with real-world impact. Groups of students consult for London-based companies, working with them to address a live strategic business problem and develop implementable solutions.

Skills for impact

A successful start in business hinges on building the skills to deliver immediate impact. Developed in close collaboration with recruiters, the Skills Programme helps you develop a raft of competencies that span the key areas of interpersonal and numerical. The competencies range from resilience, business presentation and client management, to advanced skills in Excel – all designed to ensure you can hit the ground running once employed.

Global Experiences

Our Global Experience courses challenge you to apply your learning in new and unfamiliar contexts, and to have responsible real-world impact. For one intensive, immersive week, you will expand your global mindset and network. Alongside your peers in Graduate Masters, MBA and Leadership programmes, travel to destinations such as Austin, Cape Town, Medellin and Paris. Each Global Experience is led by expert faculty and explores a topical theme, offering an in-depth view of a country's business culture. You will have the opportunity to interact meaningfully with members of the local business ecosystem, faculty, alumni, fellow students and others in the LBS global community.
