WiB exists to support, empower, and connect a community of next-generation leaders in their personal and professional development. We believe in gender equality: in business and beyond.

Objectives:

Advocacy - Support in building a School culture of inclusion and safety on campus, eliminating gender biases and awareness of diversity needs amongst LBS students
Inclusion + Intersectionality - Develop a strong WIB community through networking events, mentoring and collaboration
Professional & Personal Development - Facilitate workshops and networking events to further our members' knowledge and skills. Including opportunities for interactions and mentorship between current students and alumni

The Laidlaw Women's Leadership Fund aims to attract the highest calibre women who might not otherwise have been able to afford a top-tier business education.The creation of the fund strengthens London Business School’s ambition of moving towards 51% female representation across LBS’s degree programmes, in particular the number of women from socio-economically diverse backgrounds. Significant progress has already been made towards addressing the gender balance at LBS; with this investment, the School can further strengthen its efforts to achieve gender parity.

At London Business School over the past three years, our commitment to female participation has seen a 15% increase in women attending our programmes.
