Ramin Baghai

Visiting Professor of Finance

Experience

Ramin Baghai is a Visiting Professor of Finance at the London Business School and a Professor of Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE). He is also a Research Affiliate at the Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR) and a Research Member at the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI).

Ramin’s research focuses on topics related to infrastructure finance, corporate credit markets, corporate finance, and asset management. He has published his work in top academic journals, such as the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, and the Review of Financial Studies. His work has been cited in various news media, including the Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg. Ramin earned Master’s degrees at the London School of Economics and the London Business School, and a PhD in Finance from the London Business School.

Ramin has taught in a variety of programmes, including in the executive education area and MBA programmes, at the London Business School, the London School of Economics, the Stockholm School of Economics, among others. Recently, Ramin has developed and taught Project and Infrastructure Finance courses in various programmes at the London Business School since 2021. He has also been teaching a course in Managerial Finance at the London Business School since 2023, as well as a course on Mergers and Corporate Reorganizations. Ramin has been awarded the (student-elected) Best Teacher Awards at the SSE in 2020 and 2023.

Fees

The fee for the programme is £8,900.*

The programme fee covers all required study materials, programme activities, as well as refreshments and most meals. It also includes access to a well-appointed gym with a swimming pool. It does not include accommodation.

We offer a 25% discount for London Business School Alumni and for those who have completed four eligible Certificate in Management or Certificate in Finance programmes.
