Academic Focus
Megan Greene has a background in monetary policy, global macroeconomic developments and financial stability.
Experience
Megan received her BA in Political Economy from Princeton University before completing an MSc in International Relations at Nuffield College, Oxford.
She has straddled academia, the private sector and policy as a global macroeconomist, advisor and policymaker.
In addition to teaching, Megan is currently midway through a three-year term on the Monetary Policy Committee at the Bank of England, serves on the Academic Advisory Committee San Francisco Federal Reserve, is a Senior Fellow in Global Macroeconomics at Chatham House and is a Senior Fellow at the Watson Institute at Brown University.
Before joining the Bank of England, she was the Global Chief Economist at the Kroll Institute and was a Contributing Editor at the Financial Times, where she wrote regular columns on global macroeconomics and policy.
