Undergraduate education

Does London Business School offer undergraduate / bachelor / first degree programmes?

No. London Business School’s portfolio of courses does not include undergraduate education. The School is focused on postgraduate business education, offering a range of courses across MBA, Masters and PhD degrees, plus a selection of short courses designed for executives.

If you wish to study your first degree in London, you might wish to consider the undergraduate programmes that are on offer at our sister colleges and institutes within the University of London.

LBS Online courses

No, you can complete the sessions whenever you choose to, as long as you meet the course deadlines. For our asynchronous courses webinars are pre-recorded and uploaded to the learning platform and will be available to you throughout the duration of the programme. Participation in the weekly live sessions with the learning manager are not mandatory but encouraged to enhance your learning experience.
For our synchronous courses which are delivered Live by faculty, attendance online is mandatory. To optimise the learning experience for you and your cohort, you’ll be expected to attend all sessions including group work and coaching sessions. You’ll also be expected to take part in peer-to-peer learning.
You can apply to the course of your choice online. It important to provide detail and clarity regarding your role and learning objectives in relation to the course.
Acceptance is not automatic, and your application will be reviewed by our team of Programme Consultants or, depending on the course, the online education provider to ensure the best fit between applicants and courses.
Spaces on our programmes can fill up quickly so we encourage you to apply early and ensure your application is as comprehensive as possible.
For some partner programmes, the online education provider handles the registration process and will answer any questions you have about the programme, and whether it's right for you.

PhD programme

Some students are expected to attend a four week maths refresher or pre-programme course in September (depending on the subject area). All students will be required to attend a 3-day orientation in the first month of the programme, giving you the chance to meet faculty, your first year supervisor and other PhD students. You'll also receive training and induction in London Business School's facilities and services.
